Couples Counselling

When couples encounter problems in their relationship, they can sometimes spend years trying to figure out the root of the conflict – without success. When done correctly, couples counselling can strengthen the bonds. Couples counselling exists to help you see clearly what is currently happening in your relationship, to be clear about what you would like to be different, and to enable you to bridge the gap. I have experience in working with couples from different backgrounds and with different challenges such as infidelity, lack of communication, conflict resolution, addiction and sexual issues.

EMDR - As a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapist, I offer a structured, evidence-based approach to helping people process and heal from difficult life experiences. EMDR is widely used to support individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, stress, and deeply rooted emotional patterns that may feel overwhelming or hard to shift through traditional talk therapy alone.

EMDR works by helping the brain reprocess distressing memories so they lose their emotional intensity. Using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, we gently activate the brain’s natural healing processes. This allows past experiences to be integrated in a healthier way—so they no longer feel as vivid, triggering, or disruptive in your day-to-day life.
